Various risk factors drag down the economy

University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce cuts GDP target for 2025 to 1.7% from 3%, citing risk factors for Thai economy, including tariffs from the US, Israel-Iran conflict, Thai-Cambodian tensions, and government stability.
Today (26 June 2025) Mr. Thanawat Polvichai, President of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Economic and Business Forecasting Center, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, revealed that the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce has revised down its economic forecast for 2025 from 3% to 1.7% due to the Thai economy being beset by risk factors, including tariffs from the United States, the Israel-Iran conflict, Thai-Cambodia tensions, and government stability. หนังใหม่2025
